Falling for Monhegan 📸!
NEW DATES: Monhegan Island 3-Day Photography Workshop October 2–4, 2026

We're falling in love with Monhegan Island! Seacoast Photography School's David Mazur just returned from his latest visit, more inspired than ever. The dramatic cliffside light, the seabirds, the lobster harbor, the fog rolling in at dawn, and the charm of a place that makes you slow down and enjoy island life. Autumn is an ideal time to join us for a 3-day photography workshop with a small group providing personal instruction, camaraderie, and beautiful photo opportunities.
Ten miles off the coast of Maine, this car-free island has inspired painters, photographers, and artists for generations. Over three immersive days, you'll capture six genres: wildlife and seabird migration, coastal landscapes, atmospheric fog, working harbor, forest light, and dark sky astrophotography, all with hands-on instruction while shooting in the field.
