Fall has a way of making everyone want to pick up a camera again. The light gets lower, the colors turn, and there's suddenly a lot worth looking at.
This month we're heading trackside with David Mazur's blog. His photographs catch motocross at full speed, with riders frozen in midair and mud flying, but the story he tells is about something deeper. It's about community and our need to belong to something bigger. Behind the action are rivals who lend each other tools, veterans who coach the new kids, and families who return season after season because they belong to something. David makes the case that motocross may be one of the last real family-oriented communities around.
