Cancellations & Refund Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required for registration. Final payment is due at least 30 days before the workshop start date. Deposits are non-refundable unless your spot can be filled. However, a 50% credit of the deposit may be applied toward a future workshop and must be used within one year of cancellation. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance. Seacoast Photography School Photography Workshop Liability Waiver

I, the undersigned, acknowledge and accept that by participating in any Seacoast Photography School workshop, private or group instruction, guided hike, or other related activities (hereafter referred to as "Workshop"), I take full responsibility for my own behavior, well-being, and health throughout the duration of the Workshop. The Workshop may involve a variety of activities, unfamiliar locations, and modes of locomotion, including but not limited to: walking, running, climbing, and physical exertion for which I may not be fully prepared. I understand that I may be exposed to weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected changes, and that I may walk through unfamiliar, narrow, unpaved, or steep paths, gangways, bridges, roads, stairways, and driveways. The Workshop may also involve transportation in a variety of vehicles, including vans, motor coaches, and air or watercraft.

I further acknowledge and accept that participation in this Workshop may expose me to airborne viruses or illnesses. I knowingly and willfully accept all risks associated with participation in the Workshop and agree to hold Seacoast Photography School, its officers, agents, representatives, employees, and Workshop guides (hereafter referred to as “Staff”) harmless and free from any liability for any injury, illness, damage, or harm that may occur to me during the Workshop.

I understand that the enjoyment and excitement of the Workshop are partly derived from the inherent risks associated with travel and activities beyond the safety of everyday life. I acknowledge that these risks contribute to my enjoyment and are a primary reason for my participation. In the event of injury or illness, I consent to Seacoast Photography School or its Staff providing first aid or arranging for medical treatment, emergency evacuation services, or any other necessary actions as deemed appropriate for my safety.

I agree to abide by all instructions provided by the Workshop guide or any Staff members, understanding that non-compliance may result in injury, death, or permanent disability. I accept that failure to comply with instructions may result in my removal from the Workshop without a refund.

By registering for this Workshop, I confirm that I am not relying on any representations, statements, or inducements other than the contents of this Liability Waiver. I fully understand and agree that this waiver will be binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and successors, both now and in the future.

By registering for this workshop, I grant Seacoast Photography School a worldwide, royalty-free license to use any photographs, video, or digital likeness of me taken during the workshop for promotional and educational purposes, without compensation or prior notice. Additionally, participants grant Seacoast Photography School a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs taken by participants during the workshop for promotional and educational purposes, including on social media and marketing materials, with photo credit given where possible

This Photography Workshop Liability Waiver supersedes any prior agreements and is governed by the laws of the State of Maine. Any legal action arising from this agreement shall be exclusively brought in the Maine Court System, either in Superior or District Court. If any provision of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, AND INTEND IT TO BE BINDING.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment or deposit as outlined in the workshop listing.

Participants are responsible for their personal photography equipment and belongings.

The instructor may adjust the itinerary due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances. Workshops run in most weather conditions.
