New Ways to Learn
Every photographer's journey is different. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time, looking to sharpen a specific skill, or ready for your next creative adventure, we've created new learning opportunities designed to meet you where you are.
From beginner programs and live online courses to hands-on workshops, one-on-one coaching, and multi-day photography adventures, Seacoast Photography School offers a learning path that grows with you.
NEW Beginner Series
From Beginner to the Moon!
If you've ever wondered where to begin, this is it. Our new Beginner Series is designed to take you from learning the basics of your camera to confidently photographing one of New England's most iconic scenes, the full moon rising at Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine.
These beginner workshops are taught in the field with Lead Instructor David Mazur. You'll learn by using your own camera to work on composition with real subjects during changing light conditions, while receiving hands-on coaching, practical demonstrations, and immediate feedback.
Enrollment is limited to just six participants, giving every student personalized instruction and plenty of one-on-one coaching throughout each workshop.
Master Your Camera
Saturday, August 29 | 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Build a strong foundation as you learn the essential camera settings to capture images you'll be proud to share. You'll gain confidence using aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus modes, exposure, and composition through real-world practice with an instructor by your side.
Nubble Lighthouse & Full Moon
Saturday, September 26 | 4:30 PM to 6:45 PM
Put your new skills to work as you photograph the full moon rising behind the iconic Nubble Lighthouse. Learn how to capture golden hour, blue hour, and moonrise while practicing exposure, composition, and timing in one of New England's most beautiful coastal locations.
Bundle both workshops and save $50! It's the perfect progression from learning your camera to creating an image you'll be proud to share.
NEW Pick Your Course, Live Online
Not everyone needs the same photography skills at the same time. That's why we created Pick Your Course, a collection of live online classes that lets you focus on the topics that matter most to you.
Whether you want to master light, improve composition, gain confidence with your camera, learn Lightroom Classic, or build a professional portfolio website, you can choose the classes that support your goals.
Each two-hour live online course includes practical instruction, demonstrations, and real-time Q&A, giving you the flexibility to build your skills one topic at a time from anywhere, be it at home or on the road.
