Fall Colors Are Your Inspiration

Go beyond the classic postcard views and photograph Vermont's fall color from a fresh perspective. This workshop takes you off the beaten path to capture the authentic character of the Quechee and Woodstock region, where weathered sugar shacks, rustic barns with aging tin roofs, covered bridges, winding backroads, stone walls, and quiet villages are woven into a landscape of brilliant autumn color.

We'll explore locations chosen not just for their beauty, but for their ability to tell a story.

Hands-on photography education in real-world environments.

Vermont in late October offers a landscape transformed by color, atmosphere, and changing light. The Quechee and Woodstock areas are filled with iconic New England scenery that can be shot with intent and storytelling in mind.

This workshop is designed for photographers who want more than a picture postcard. Through hands-on field instruction, small group learning, and real-world shooting environments, you’ll learn how to work with changing light, strengthen composition, and develop a more intentional way of seeing through the lens.

IMPORTANT PREPARATION NOTE:

If you are not yet confident with your camera or the Exposure Triangle (the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and ISO), we recommend scheduling a private one-on-one session before the workshop.
