Find the Frame

Great composition doesn’t have to be complicated. A few steps, a different angle, or simply noticing light, lines, shapes, and layers can completely change a photograph.

Capture Composition is a hands-on photography walk where you’ll experiment with simple ways to create stronger images. Shoot, review, make a change, and try again with guidance along the way.

No memorizing rules. Just practice, experimentation, and learn new ways to see what’s around you.

Start Seeing More

The best part about learning composition is that you can practice it anywhere. A doorway can become a frame. A shadow can become a leading line. A reflection can completely change an ordinary scene. Even moving a few feet can turn a photograph that feels flat into one that works.

During this two-hour guided photography walk, we’ll explore these ideas together and put them into practice right away.

The goal isn’t to memorize a list of composition rules. It’s about experimenting and seeing more possibilities every time you look through the frame.
