Learning Together in the Field

This marks our fourth year collaborating with the Center for Wildlife, and we’re excited to welcome beginners to learn nature photography.

This workshop offers a supportive, hands-on approach to photographing birds in their natural environment. We’ll cover camera settings, positioning, and composition in a clear, approachable way, along with simple guidance for photographing wildlife with care.

A portion of each registration supports the Center for Wildlife and their work caring for local wildlife.

If you’re new to bird photography and not sure where to start, this class is designed for you. You’ll learn at a comfortable pace with clear guidance and hands-on practice, while also learning how to photograph birds thoughtfully and responsibly. You’ll leave with practical skills, growing confidence, and images you’ll be proud to share.

David Mazur

Founder and Lead Instructor of Seacoast Photography School, David shares years of experience teaching photographers of all levels, he is known for his clear, witty, hands-on approach and ability to break down complex concepts into practical, easy-to-understand guidance. David's teaching style focuses on building confidence, strengthening technical skills, and helping photographers develop their own way of seeing, both in the field and in the studio.
